The Story

Founded in 2019, Bambiibrush was created to help make an every day product; sustainable, aesthetic and convenient. Co-founder Dylan devoted his Masters in Economics thesis to investigate consumer behaviour in this field. He investigated the gap between intention and behaviour in plastic usage. "Everyone says they are concerned about the environment and overconsumption of plastic, yet they still purchase single use plastic on a daily basis". He discovered the key drivers that drove plastic usage even among those who had good intentions, was convenience and incentive. Through travelling and seeing plastic toothbrushes offered all along the way, Bambiibrush was born to bridge the gap, in the coolest way possible.

Our Mission

Bambiibrush was created to constantly remind people each day when they wake up to brush, and each evening before they go to sleep, to make meaningful choices and to live a sustainable life. We’re focused on one vision: to change what you, and society, think about plastic. We strive to inspire moments of optimism and happiness through our brand and through our actions. We strive for a world where resources are utilised in a sustainable way to ensure all current and future generations are provided for.

Sustainable Living

Bambiibrush as eco-friendly as they come. It's made from 100% bio-degradable bamboo & activated charcoal bristles. The entire process from design, to manufacturing, to your doorstep, is about minimising our environmental footprint. Bambiibrush lives in biodegradable paper, is delivered in a compostable package and travels to you using 100% carbon neutral delivery. Heck, even the sticky tape is biodegradable!

The Effects

Our natural planet is depleting. Climate change is happening. Plastic production and pollution is growing. Plastic toothbrushes cannot be recycled and they take at least 400 years to decompose into microplastics. Australians use approximately 98.4 million toothbrushes per year, which equates to 1500 tonnes of non-recyclable plastic that goes either to landfill or into our oceans. Every single toothbrush you have ever used is still out there somewhere.

Stop using plastic toothbrushes.
